Attachment

According to Bowlby (1969), attachment motivation is a personality attribute that reflects an individual’s desire for social interaction and a sense of communion with others.

The concept of relationship commitment measures whether an individual tends to continue with an established relationship. It reflects an individual’s internal representation of dependence on an established relationship, including both long- term orientation and psychological attachment to the relationship (Rusbult,1983).
